Pension Fund Celebrates 125 Years of Service

Founded in 1895 as the Board of Ministerial Relief to assist clergy and their families during times of financial hardship, Pension Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is celebrating its 125th anniversary of serving those who serve in the Stone-Campbell (Restoration) Movement. This ministry, that started as a single gift to the widowed Rhoda Jane Castle Chase and her children, today stewards over $3.3 billion in assets for more than 14,000 members. In addition to offering a pension, 403(b), 457(b), and other individual savings products, Pension Fund provides ongoing financial resources to its members.

“Over our 125-year history, we’ve continued to evolve in our support to our members”, said CEO, Rev. Dr. Todd Adams. "Our logo, the Alpha and Omega, reminds us that we stand with clergy from the beginning of their call to ministry and promise to stand with their families long after their passing.

This year we are pleased to have expanded resources to help our members on the road to financial wellness with our partnership with Your Money Line by Pete the Planner®." To join in the 125th Anniversary celebration, Pension Fund members are invited to:
