Pension Fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is seeking applicants for a Member Service Specialist.  The successful candidate will share duties of the Participant Support Center which serves as a point of first contact for Pension Plan and related programs.

 

Qualification:

 

  • Associates or Baccalaureate degree preferred
  • Must truly love and desire to assist people
  • Must enjoy working in team environment
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual fluency preferred

 

Duties:

 

  • Assist members, retirees and beneficiaries during critical life events
  • Communicate with participants regarding every aspect of their Pension Fund relationship
  • Respond to general information inquiries, balance inquiries, transaction inquiries
  • Forward enrollment packets for all pension and health programs and services
  • Perform authorized transactions, including withdrawals, on behalf of participants
  • Prepare and forward confirmations of all actions
  • Follow-up for quality assurance to new participants, surviving spouses and new retirees
